Amsterdam Tech Collective

The Amsterdam Tech Collective is an initiative by NovaLex that brings together founders, builders, operators, investors and experts working across AI and emerging technologies.

Rather than large networking events, the Collective focuses on carefully curated gatherings where participants can exchange practical knowledge, discuss real implementation challenges and build lasting professional relationships.

Membership is free and participation is by application or invitation only.

Amsterdam Tech Collective | Curated Boat Sessions

The best conversations rarely happen in conference rooms.

This summer, the Amsterdam Tech Collective is bringing together founders, builders, operators, investors and enterprise leaders for intimate boat sessions on Amsterdam's canals.

We believe the best ideas emerge when the right people are in the same room, or in this case, on the same boat.

Rather than large networking events, each session brings together 8–10 participants around one focused topic related to AI, emerging technologies, entrepreneurship or innovation. The intimate setting, small group size and relaxed atmosphere are designed to encourage practical insights, meaningful introductions and long-term professional relationships.

Boat sessions will take place once a week throughout the season. To keep every discussion relevant and engaging, participants are curated based on their background, interests and the theme of each session. Selected participants will typically receive invitations several days in advance, with the exact departure location shared approximately 24 hours before departure.

How It Works

1. Join the Amsterdam Tech Collective by registering below.
2. Complete the application form in as much detail as possible. The more we know about your background and interests, the better we can match you with the right group and discussion.
3. We'll add you to our curated member pool.
4. When a session matches your profile, we'll send you an invitation several days in advance.
5. If you can't make it, simply let us know, and we'll offer your place to another member.

Each boat has limited capacity (8–10 participants), allowing everyone to actively contribute to the conversation and get to know one another.
